The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF)
prepared a list of communities at risk from wildfire within the
State of California. They used three factors to determine the
communities: ranking fuel hazards by vegetation types;
assessing the probability of a future fire based on the vegetation
type; and defined areas of housing intermingled with wildland fuels
and urban environments.
There are 1,283 communities on the list statewide; the following
list contains only those within the Inland Empire. These areas
are adjacent to Federal lands (USDA Forest Service, Bureau of Land
Management, Department of Defense, etc.) and State lands (Parks,
etc.). If adjacent to Federal lands, the list contains an
"F". The Hazard Level Code of "3" indicates the highest fire
threat level.

this page; if none is listed and you would like
